About PanTrove

PanTrove is an independent directory that helps pet owners look up local pet-care businesses — vets, dog groomers, and pet boarding & daycare — by what they actually offer: services, hours, prices, emergency care and online booking, compiled from each business’s own website.

Why we built it

Finding the right vet, groomer or boarding place usually means scrolling star ratings that are easy to game and hard to read. A 5.0 from three reviews tells you less than a 4.6 from four hundred. We take a different approach: we read each business’s own website, pull out the facts they publish, and lay them out in a clear, consistent summary.

How it works

Each listing gathers the facts a business publishes about itself on its own website and shows them in one place. We don't grade, score or rank businesses, and the Google star rating is shown for reference only. Read the full method on our how we compile listings page.

Independent & free

PanTrove is free to use. Businesses cannot pay to appear, to rank higher, or to change what's shown — listings are based only on public information. If we ever earn revenue from advertising or affiliate links, it is labelled and kept separate. See our disclosure.

Coverage

PanTrove is built to span countries, not just cities. We cover vets, dog groomers and pet boarding across Australia and New Zealand, and we’re adding more countries. We re-read business websites regularly and stamp each page with the date it was last updated.
